There is a point for all writers in which they take themselves seriously. It's a psychological block really that keeps them from doing so. It's the belief that they are not something. It keeps each author, I believe, from considering themselves and their work legitimate.
That psychology punishes all authors, day by day, manuscript by manuscript, until they are satisfied that they have something, maybe just once, that they are proud of.
So this is the end of that psychology for me. I've written enough professionally and personally to know that I am capable of writing. I have at least one manuscript that I feel like sharing with the world.
